SPECIALISATION
In this Bachelor of Information Technology programme, you will have the opportunity to specialise in one of the following areas: Internet Technologies, Business Intelligence and Analytics, or Game Design. By choosing one of these specialisations, you will gain in-depth knowledge and skills in your chosen area of expertise. Internet Technologies (Dual Award)
If you choose the Internet Technologies specialisation, you will dive into the technical field that encompasses the skills needed to develop applications on the Internet or Internet-based systems. You will learn about e-commerce, cloud computing, mobile technologies, and web-based technologies. This specialisation equips you with the knowledge and skills to create innovative and dynamic solutions in the digital realm.

Prerequisites
- Pass SPM/O-level or equivalent with 5 credits (including Mathematics) for entry with pre-university/foundation qualification (Except for UEC).
- Pass SPM/O-level or equivalent with 3 credits (including Mathematics) for entry with Diploma qualification.
Note: Candidates without a credit in mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent may be admitted if the STPM (Pre-U) / Matriculation / Foundation / Diploma in Computer Science or Software Engineering or Information Technology or Information System or Science and Technology or Business Studies programme contains subjects in mathematics that are equivalent or higher to mathematics at SPM level.
- Candidates without a credit in Mathematics at SPM level/equivalent or without a subject in Mathematics at a higher level, need to take and pass the reinforcement Mathematics subject that is equivalent to the SPM level. The reinforcement Mathematics subject must be offered in the first semester or before enrolment with unconditional offer.
- Reinforcement Mathematics can be offered as part of or outside the curriculum structure. If Reinforcement Mathematics is offered as part of the curriculum structure, it should count as an addition to the total number of credits required for graduation.

- Any other Diploma (Level 4, MQF) with a minimum CGPA of 2.75. Candidates with a CGPA below 2.75 but more than 2.50 can be admitted subject to a thorough rigorous assessment;
- Pass High School Certificate from New South Wales, Australia with an average of 60%
- Pass ANY Foundation with min CGPA 2.0 from other institutions recognized by the Malaysian Government
- Pass Matriculation programs recognized by the Ministry of Education Malaysia in the relevant field with min CGPA 2.00
- Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM) / Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM) / Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM) in Computing fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 subjected to HEP Senate / Academic Board’s approval;
- Any other qualifications are recognized as equivalent by the Malaysia Government.
