This course provides training required by senior officers working onboard LNG tankers that meets the requirements framework of STCW 2010 (with Manila amendments). It relates to IMO model courses 1.05 “Advanced Training for Liquefied Gas Tanker Cargo Operations and IMO 1.36 “Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Tanker Cargo & Ballast Handling Simulator” including SIGTTO requirements.

Entry Requirements:

  • Officers in charge of navigational watch on ships of 500 gross tonnage or more.
  • Have acquired a sea time of 12 months.
  • Have valid Seafarer Identity Card.
