A Diploma in Accounting is a stepping stone and the perfect start for future accountants as this programme provides students with a solid foundation of knowledge in the areas of accounting, technical skills related to business principles and major practises in handling and preparing accounts and financial reports.
Students also will be exposed to the computerised accounting system to prepare them with knowledge on technology, principles of taxation, auditing and cost & management accounting. These are the essential input and skills for them to acquire before beginning a career path in various professional accounting bodies and other business sectors.
- Certification – Microsoft Excel and SQL Accounting certifications
- Professional Exemption – Maximum up to 3 papers exemption from ACCA
- 6 months of Internship to expose students to relevant work experience and to apply lessons taught in class.

Course information
Entry Requirements
- A pass in SPM or its equivalent with a minimum of 3 credits including Mathematics, and a pass in English; OR
- A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) or its equivalent, with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.0) in any subject, and credits in Mathematics and a pass in English at SPM level;OR
- A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Maqbul (pass) and credits
- in Mathematics and a pass in English at SPM level; OR
- A pass in SKM Level 3 (Level 3, MQF) in a related field and a pass in SPM with a minimum of 1 credit in any subject with credits in Mathematics and a pass in English subject to Senate approval and MUST attend bridging courses; OR
- A certificate (Level 3,MQF) or its equivalent in a related field
Language Requirements
International Students
- Minimum score of 5.5 for IELTS; OR its equivalent
Local Students
- A pass in SPM English

Programme Learning Outcome
The Programme Learning Outcomes (PLO) of this programme is to prepare graduates who are able to:
- Learn Bookkeeping concepts with the ability to prepare full sets of financial statements.
- Get in-depth with concepts and terminology of cost, including the different techniques of cost management.
- Learn the nature and fundamental concepts of auditing, emphasis on external and statutory audits.
