Why Study Physiotherapy in UOW Malaysia?
A physiotherapist works as a member of the healthcare team treating clients that may range from small babies to the frail elderly. The profession focuses on human movement as being central to the health and well-being of individuals. Their primary focus is to resolve pain, stabilize injury and prevent it from increasing.
The Physiotherapy program at Glenmarie, Selangor campus encompasses comprehensive learning with emphasis on “hands on” practice and clinical placements in accredited hospitals. The students will undergo specially designed clinical placements which exceeds the 1000 hours requirement by the World Confederation of Physiotherapy. The students learn to treat patient holistically while minimising risks, ensure patient safety at all times, and working within a legal and ethical framework.

COLLEGE HISTORY
- 1995 – Established as a pioneer nursing college and in operation as SJMC Nursing College.
- 2007 – registered with the Ministry of Higher Education as a private higher education provider under the name of Ramsay Sime Darby Healthcare College.
- 2009 – began operations and grew to 1100 students, offering 18 programs.
- 2020 – acquired by UOW Malaysia and became part of the UOW global network of campuses.
- 2022 – relocated to the UOW Malaysia Glenmarie campus and renamed as UOW Malaysia College, offering quality health care education.

Entry requirements

International Student:
