This course provides the participants with the prospect of gaining a general idea of shipping, by providing the key functional information to help navigate in the central waters of the maritime industry. It seeks to educate and inform newcomers to shipping and professionals about a solid footing of vessel types, ship management, maritime masses, ship building, maritime insurance, and the different regulatory bodies.

This course is open to all shore-based staff involved in the shipping and maritime industry. Junior and senior executives are encouraged to take this course for awareness and knowledge.
