COURSE OVERVIEW
The purpose of this programme is to produce graduates with knowledge of teaching Arabic as a second language. From the aspects of national aspiration and global importance, this programme aims to produce graduates who have the ability to apply their knowledge and skills as well as communicate well in Arabic to contribute at the international stage and realise the features of a Malaysian society as envisioned in Vision 2020.

A relevant Bachelor’s degree with good grade from IIUM or any other accredited institutions of higher learning, or other certificates that are recognized as equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree or relevant professional qualifications and experience that are recognized by the Senate of the University. Applicants are required to obtain the following Arabic and English proficiency levels:
Minimum score on IIUM’s Arabic Placement Test (APT): 7.0
Minimum TOEFL: Paper based: 500
