This course provides training in Ship handling recommended in the IMO Model Course 1.22 and fulfills the training requirement for Navigating Senior officers at the Management Level, specified in Table A-II/2 of STCW Code concerning maneuvering and handling a ship in various conditions in congested waters including berthing and unberthing scenario. Mandatory minimum requirements for certification of masters and chief mates on ships of 500 gross tonnage or more.
