The Bachelor of Biotechnology programme is designed to provide you with a comprehensive education and training in biotechnology, with a specific focus on three core areas: agriculture, medical, and industrial biotechnology disciplines.
Throughout the programme, you will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on practical sessions, allowing you to apply your theoretical knowledge in real-world settings. Our progressive curriculum is designed to equip you with the scientific principles and knowledge necessary for success in the biotechnology industry. PROGRAMME STRUCTURE
As a student in our programme, you will have the opportunity to explore a wide range of essential components in the field of biotechnology. We will expose you to scientific principles and knowledge that serve as the foundation of this discipline. You will gain a deep understanding of the fundamental concepts and theories that drive advancements in biotechnology.
In addition, you will be introduced to bioinformatics technologies, which play a critical role in analyzing and interpreting biological data. Through hands-on experiences and practical applications, you will develop the necessary skills to leverage computational tools and techniques for data analysis in the biotechnology field.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Prerequisites
Pass SPM/O-level or equivalent with 5 credits in Mathematics and one science subject for entry with pre-university /foundation qualification. (Except for UEC)
SPM / O-Level with Diploma
Pass SPM with three (3) credits in Mathematics, one science subject and one any other subject for entry with Diploma qualification.

Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM)
Pass STPM with min. of Grade C (GPA 2.00) in any two (2) subjects, or its equivalent
Unified Examination Certificate (UEC)
A Pass in UEC with min 5Bs including Mathematics and one Science subject. Candidates without a Grade B in Mathematic and one Science subject may be admitted if the candidate has a credit in Mathematic and one Science subject at SPM or equivalent level.
