Early childhood education is a diverse field that espouses pertinent academic and practical knowledge to nurture and to educate children to be leaders of tomorrow. At UCSI, the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education is specifically curated to advance study into this area.

The programme incorporates sufficient managerial and entrepreneurial skills to enable graduates develop a greater level of understanding on the importance of early childhood education. As you complete this programme, you will be equipped with the essential skillset to excel in the early childhood education.

Academic Requirements

STPM

Passed at least two (2) subjects with a minimum Grade C (GP 2.00) in any two (2) subjects

A-Level

Passed at least two (2) subjects with a minimum Grade D in any two (2) subjects

UEC

A minimum of FIVE Bs, including English

Diploma in ECE (Level 4, MQF) or its equivalent

Pass with a minimum CGPA of 2.0

Any qualifications equivalent to Diploma (Level 4, MQF) or Advanced Diploma (Level 5, MQF)

Pass with a minimum CGPA of 2.0

Executive Diploma from University of Malaya (Level 4, MQF) in related fields

Pass with a minimum CGPA of 2.0

Matriculation

A minimum CGPA of 2.0

Foundation or its equivalent

Pass with a minimum CGPA of 2.0

Any qualifications equivalent to STPM/Grade 12

Pass with a minimum overall average 60%

International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma

Completed (minimum CGPA 2.0/4.0)

Executive Diploma in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 shall be used as entry qualification to the Bachelor’s Degree, however credit transfer is NOT permissible.

*All the above qualifications need to be supported with at least credits in (Mathematics and Biology/ Physics/ Chemistry/ General Science/ Applied Science and a pass in English at SPM level).
