This degree prepares you for careers in computing by equipping you with essential skills in software development, network administration, and system management. You’ll build a solid foundation in programming with C and Java, covering core concepts like object orientation, algorithms, and operating systems, while developing Linux expertise from basic to advanced levels. 

The course offers specialisations in computer science, cyber security, and software engineering, with a focus on the convergence of IT, IoT, embedded systems, telecommunications, and real-time systems. There are five levels of certification: Entry (CCENT), Associate (CCNA / CCDA), Professional (CCNP / CCDP), Expert (CCIE / CCDE), and recently Architect, as well as eight different paths, Routing & Switching, Design, Network Security, Service Provider, Service Provider Operations, Storage Networking, Voice, Datacenter and Wireless. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Routing and Switching is a certification program for entry-level network engineers that helps maximize your investment in foundational networking knowledge and increase the value of your employer’s network. CCNA Routing and Switching is for Network Specialists, Network Administrators, and Network Support Engineers with 1-3 years of experience. The CCNA Routing and Switching validates the ability to install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot medium-size routed and switched networks.
