ABOUT THIS PROGRAMME
Diploma in Accounting provides students with the opportunity to acquire effective knowledge andskills in accounting studies.
The curriculum is designed in order to provide a sound knowledge of theimportant principles and concepts of accounting, auditing, taxation, along with the understanding in analyzing various corporate financial statements. As it covers a broad and inter-disciplinary aspect of accounting, management, finance, information system and communication, it will equip the student with the ability to adopt and apply the knowledge in a real-life situation as to meet the demands and challenges in the new global economy.

CHECK IF YOU ARE ELIGIBLE
Minimum Entry Requirements:
- SPM: Minimum 3Cs (including Mathematics) and pass in English.
- O-Level: Minimum 3Cs (including Mathematics) and pass in English.
- UEC: Minimum 3Bs (including Mathematics) and pass in English.
- SKM III: Minimum CGPA of 2.00 with 2Cs in SPM (including Mathematics) and pass in English.
- Certificate: Pass Certificate Level 3, MQF with minimum CGPA of 2.00.
- SAM/HSC/AUSMAT: (Kindly refer to the Faculty).
- STPM: Pass STPM with minimum 1C, credit in Mathematics, and pass in English in SPM.
- STAM: Pass STAM (maqbul rank), credit in Mathematics, and pass in English in SPM.
- CPU/CIMP: (Kindly refer to the Faculty).
- Other Qualifications: As recognised by the Senate of IUKL as equivalent to SPM.

How does the Professional Recognition for this programme benefit me?
Upon completion of this programme, students who wish to embark on professional examinations towards becoming a professional accountant can start their journey immediately. They will be given certain exemptions.
