Interior Design programme aims to produce graduates professionally as semiprofessional in interior design environment and building industry with savvy theoretical and technical
knowledge and to develop learners who are able to communicate effectively, endeavour teamwork, adapt readily talent to altering situations by problem solving with high confidence and guided by high ethical and moral values that prepares them to fulfill their professional career in competitive global market. Entry Requirements
i) A pass in SPM with a minimum of 3 credits in any subject including Mathematics, or its equivalent; OR
ii) A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.0) in any subject and credit in Mathematics at SPM level, or its equivalent; OR
iii) A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Maqbul including credit in Mathematics at SPM level OR
iv) A Certificate (Level 3, MQF) and credit in Mathematics at SPM Level; OR
v) A Certificate (Level 3, MQF) in Architecture related field; OR
vi) *Pass SKM (Level 3, MQF) in Early Child Care/Preschool (HEP is required to implement a screening and bridging program which correspond to the program field).
AND For qualifications (i), (ii), (iii) and (iv):
a. Passed Art (Pendidikan Seni)/ Engineering Drawing subjects at SPM level or equivalent;
b. Pass the portfolio test for those who fail or do not take Art subjects.
For International Students
Senate minimum requirements: A minimum score of 4.0 in IELTS OR / Malaysian University English Test (MUET) with Band 3 OR its equivalent.
