Medical Laboratory Technologists are healthcare professionals who contribute to diagnosis and disease monitoring by providing laboratory services. This course is offered to fulfil the needs for skilled and trained medical technologist to assist in the operation, development and management of medical laboratories. Sponsorships by private hospitals for deserving candidates.It combines theoretical learning and practical sessions in medical laboratories and hospitals. You will learn how to perform and analyse the results of complex scientific tests.

Entry Requirements
i) SPM or equivalent with PASS in Bahasa Malaysia and English and 5 credits in the following subjects: • Mathematics; • ONE science subject (Biology/Physics/Chemistry/General Science/Applied Science); and • Any other THREE subjects (including Bahasa Malaysia and/or English).
OR
ii) GCE/O Level or equivalent with PASS in Bahasa Malaysia or English and 5 Grade C in the following subjects: • Mathematics; • ONE science subject (Biology/Physics/Chemistry/General Science/Applied Science); and • Any other THREE subjects (including Bahasa Malaysia and/or English).
OR
iii) Certificate (Level 3, MQF) related to Health Sciences with minimum CGPA 2.75. iv) *Pass SKM (Level 3, MQF) in relevant fields (HEP is required to implement a screening and bridging program which correspond to the program field)
For International Students
Senate minimum requirements: A minimum score of 4.0 in IELTS OR / Malaysian University English Test (MUET) with Band 3 OR its equivalent.
