Overview
The Master’s by research prepares students in a broad range of research areas in medical sciences. It is designed to expand their knowledge and understanding of scientific concepts consistent with recent advances in biomedical research. The program will guide students towards better understanding of medical sciences and enhance their proficiency in analytical and problem solving methodology. It will also provide candidates with skills for future employment and career opportunities in medical research, health related teaching and consultancy.

Entry Requirement
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum CGPA of 2.75 in related field, as accepted by the HEP Senate; or
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent with CGPA between 2.50 and 2.75, can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment; or
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field with CGPA of less than 2.50 and a minimum of 5 years working experience in the related field; or
- Doctor of Medicine (MD), Bachelor of medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) (Level 6, MQF) or equivalent
- English language proficiency level of either a minimum of IELTS Band
