Entry Requirements

i. STPM: Pass with Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in any 2 subjects AND (a)
ii. A Level: Full pass in two subjects AND (a)
iii. UEC: PASS with Grade B in 5 subjects including Mathematics
iv. STAM: Pass with a minimum grade of Jayyid in any TWO (2) subjects AND (a)
v. Matriculation/ Foundation: Pass with min CGPA 2.0 AND (a)
vi. Diploma (MQF Level 4) in non-computing field: min. CGPA of 2.75. Candidate with CGPA 2.50 to 2.75 can be admitted subject to a thorough rigorous assessment AND (a)

(a) Additional Requirement

  • Credit in Mathematics at the SPM level or its equivalent OR
  • Pass in Mathematics at SPM level need to pass the Reinforcement Mathematics subject that is equivalent to the SPM level. The subject must be offered in first semester or before enrolment with unconditional offer. [Not Applicable to International Candidates]

vii. Diploma in Computing fields (MQF Level 4): Pass with minimum CGPA of 2.50. CGPA 2.00 to 2.50 can be admitted subject to a thorough rigorous assessment
viii. Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM) / Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM) / Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM) in Computing fields: minimum CGPA of 2.50 subjected to HEP Senate / Academic Board’s approval

ix. Other relevant and equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government.

  • Candidates can be admitted if their admission qualification contains Mathematics subject(s) equivalent to Mathematics at the SPM level.
  • If it is not equivalent, reinforcement Mathematics subject that equivalent to the SPM level must be offered in the first semester or before enrolment with unconditional offer. [Not Applicable to International Candidates]
