Programme Structure
Our MBBS is delivered over 10 semesters, where Semesters 1 to 4 covers Phase 1 Pre-Clinical Subjects. Semester 6 onwards students cover Clinical Subjects and spend most of their time in bed-side teaching at our partner teaching hospitals.

MBBS CRITERIA
Entry Requirements
All applicants except those with the degree qualification, STPM / A-Level must fulfil the requirement at SPM/ O Levels or its equivalent. A combination of SPM and O Level results is allowed to fulfil the entry requirement.
SPM/ O Levels or its equivalent; 5 Bs each in: Biology; and Chemistry; and Physics; and Mathematics/ Additional Mathematics; and another subject.
UEC: B4 each in 3 subjects in Biology; and Chemistry; and Physics/ Mathematics/ Advanced Mathematics.
STPM / A-Levels
Grades BBB, ABC or AAC or CGPA 3.0 (out of 4.0) in 3 subjects in Biology; and Chemistry; and Physics or Mathematics
(Combination of A Level or STAM and STPM is allowed to fulfil the entry requirement.)
Matriculation or Foundation in Science or Pre-Medical programme
CGPA 3.0 (out of 4.0) in 3 subjects in Biology; and Chemistry; and Physics or Mathematics Minimum grade for each subject is C (GP 2.0)
AND provided the course is not less than 1 year and completed in the same institution.
UEC entry to medical programme
84 each in 5 subjects i.e. Biology; and Chemistry; and Physics; and Advanced Mathematics I or Mathematics; and Advanced Mathematics II or Advanced Mathematics

Indian Pre-University
Obtain Eligibility Certificate from National Medical Commission India, Pass the NEET* Exam; and Average of 70% in 3 subjects in Biology; and Chemistry; and Physics or Mathematics

** The NEET is required for Indian Citizen who wish to work in India [subject to fulfilling the National Medical Commission (Foreign Medical Graduate Licentiate) Regulations, 2021 dated 18 November 2021 and any other regulations]
*** Those who do not intend to work as a medical practitioner in India must provide a signed letter of undertaking witnessed by a Lawyer or Commissioner of Oath. This letter of undertaking must clearly state that they will not seek registration with National Medical Commission of India.
International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme
Minimum overall score 33 points, 2 science subjects (Biology and Chemistry) at Higher Level (HL) and Mathematics at HL AND attained a minimum score of 5 each in Biology; and Chemistry; and Mathematics
*This requirement is effective starting from January 2024
Diploma in Health Sciences or equivalent
CGPA 3.5 (out of 4.0) AND provided the programme is not less than 5 semesters or 2 ½ years and completed in the same institution. AND at SPM/ O Level or its equivalent minimum 2 Bs in any 2 subjects Biology; and/or Chemistry; and/or Physics AND Credits in 3 subjects in English; and Mathematics or Additional Mathematics; and another subject
Degree in Health or Pure or Applied Sciences
CGPA 3.0 (out of 4.0) for entry to 5-year medical programme
Degree in the Arts or Humanities
CGPA 3.5 (out of 4.0) for entry to 5-year medical programme
Notes:
- The minimum age requirement for entry into a medical programme is 18 years old during admissions.
- Malaysian citizen seeking employment in the public sector must fulfil the criteria set by the Public Services Commission of Malaysia (SPA).
- A person with any of the following shall be disqualified from entry into a medical programme:
- found guilty of offence(s) affecting the human body
- recent or serious dishonesty e.g., cheating at examinations, falsification of documents, plagiarism; and/or
- serious physical or mental illness
- serious communicable disease(s)
- The English Language competency requirement is mandatory only for international students.
