This course complies with the STCW 1978 including (2010 Manila Amendment) of Table A-II/1 for Bridge Resource Management. It focuses on tasks, managing workload and the resources available on the bridge team for various situations. It provides senior and junior officers the training in the human element leadership and management with profound Knowledge, Understanding and Proficiency (KUP).

Entry Requirements:

  • Officers in charge of navigational watches on ships of 500 gross tonnage or more
  • Have acquired a sea time of 12 months
  • Have valid Seafarer Identity Card
  • Have valid Medical Certificate issued by an accredited Medical Practitioner by Malaysia Marine Department
