ABOUT THIS PROGRAMME
The PhD in Information Technology (Ph.D. IT) at Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur (IUKL) caters to the growing demand for professionals who manage information resources and solve ICT-related problems in various organizations. This program is also valuable for those involved in educating or training others in information systems and communications. It is an intensive program designed to develop practitioners and teaching faculty with high levels of technical and analytical expertise in specific IT fields, focusing on industry practice over theory. Upon successful completion, graduates are awarded the title of “Doctor” and can use the corresponding post-nominals. The Ph.D. IT research at IUKL unites researchers with experienced personnel from leading organizations to develop and innovate infrastructure solutions, addressing critical issues and setting the future research and education agenda. CHECK IF YOU ARE ELIGIBLE
- A Master’s Degree from any institution of higher learning recognized by the Malaysian government OR other qualifications approved by the Senate of IUKL.
- Candidate must have completed at least ONE (1) of their earlier degrees (Master or Bachelor) in Computing or related to computing.
- Local Applicants need to have sufficient mastery of the English language to satisfactorily complete the course (where necessary candidates may be required to sit for an English Language Proficiency Test (EPT)).
- International Applicants are required to have a minimum score of TOEFL 537 OR IELTS 6.0 OR have attained a degree from a university where the medium of instruction is in English.
