Our partnerships with leading higher education providers enable us to deliver vocational, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in banking, finance, accounting, business, tourism, healthcare – and more.
We want our students to thrive in today’s competitive job market, so our excellent links to employers and bespoke academic and career guidance are essential for giving our students the edge in their future careers. Our learning environments are inclusive spaces, just like our approach to recruiting students. We want to widen the access to higher education among groups currently under-represented in the sector.
Students taking our GBS courses earn internationally recognised qualifications that are accepted around the world. In the UAE, GBS Dubai is authorised by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) and our academic qualifications are all certified by KHDA and recognised in the Emirate of Dubai by all public and private entities.
Our History
GBS started life in 2010 as a training centre specialising in finance and investment banking, offering courses to students from around the world. Over the last 11 years, we’ve evolved and grown with the ability to impact more lives through education than ever before.
In 2016, we opened our first campus, in London’s iconic East End and that milestone still defines who we are as an institution today. As one of the city’s most economically deprived areas, we quickly realised the positive and long-lasting impact we could have on communities by reaching out to those from backgrounds who usually wouldn’t consider this path.
We partnered with several UK universities that shared our vision, allowing us to add more academic disciplines to our portfolio. We continued to offer finance and banking courses, but added business management and healthcare programmes more recently, providing even more opportunities for our students.
Fast-forward to 2021 and we have campuses in Malta and Dubai, as well as campuses in the UK’s biggest and most exciting cities – London, Manchester, Birmingham and Leeds. With thousands of students studying with us, the GBS journey has only just begun.
